You could be forgiven for thinking that this web site is being run by a charity or a business in the health industry but it is in fact owned and managed by James Slattery-Kavanagh, an individual with no medical training.

Please note that we do not receive any funding from government sources or national health departments (even though we are often listed by them as the only source of further information on PSD). And we don’t receive any official support from drug companies, from doctors or researchers or have any medically qualified staff.

We hope to change this but until we do we regret that we are unable to offer any medical advice or enter into any personal correspondence.

Even for general questions if everyone contacted us by email we would end up answering the same questions time and time again. So we have established an online forum. If you have a question you are encouraged to leave a message in our forum and we will endeavour to respond to you there.

Support is offered in this way so that we can build up a useful library of information for people with Protein S Deficiency. You will also benefit from the opportunity for other people with PSD to give you their input and we can easily add cross-references to direct you towards other useful material. Please read through the existing topics first, use the forum search facility and check our web pages.
